Copy of About Paws With Cause
Yes, seniors are doing it. Painting that is. And so are veterans, kids and volunteers of all types. Even a few professional artisits. They're all working together to raise awareness for animal homelesseness,
But not just that. They are also working hard to make sure every single animal gets food and shelter in the Puget Sound area.
Approximately 8 million animals enter shelters each year. Of those, 4 million are euthanized. We work with shelters to raise awareness of this issue.
Senior artists create one of a kind portraits of shelter animals, that are displayed and sold to the public to raise money for our art program and for animal welfare.
Our community partners take the portraits and display them in our galleries inside of their businesses. This gives visibility and raises awareness for these at-risk animals.
